Lost in Translation

This was my first time in Japan, and it changed something in me. Walking through the streets of Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto and Tokyo, camera in hand, I fell in love, with the calm in the chaos, the elegance of everyday faces, and the beauty hidden in the lines of a building.

Through these photos I tried to capture what I felt: quiet awe, deep respect, and a pull I can’t quite explain. Japan is more than a place. It’s a rhythm I want to return to.
